Look Out! Lillee is ONE!!!!

Oh goodness...where to begin??  How did a year go by so quickly?  It seems like just yesterday I was holding this tiny angel in my arms!

But a year has gone by and our precious baby girl is now 1!!  She had a wonderful birthday!  So many people love her and she is very blessed!  On her actual birthday she had Discovery School.  I took mini cupcakes for her to share with the other babies in her class.  Every Thursday at school Birthday Burt comes and sings to all the kids having birthdays that week.  Lillee's birthday fell on a Thursdsay so he came to sing to her!

That night we went to Olive Garden for her birthday dinner with both sets of her grandparents.  We chose Olive Garden because we know that later on in her life it will probably be something nasty like Chucky Cheese!  We let her try spaghetti for the first time that night...she just made a mess, but had fun anyways!

Friday night we had all of Brandon's family over to play games after dinner at Tampicos.  His cousin, Eddie, is in the Army and is in town right now so we wanted to all get together.  Uncle Dave and Aunt Tina went ahead and brought her birthday gift.  She loved it!

They gave her a cute little purse that plays music!

Saturday night my parents came over to bring her a few things before the actual birthday party on Sunday!

Sunday was the big party day!  We had it at Polo Park Clubhouse.  We invited all of our family and then some close friends.  It turned out great and Lillee had a blast!  She knew that everyone was there for her, wasn't sure why...but that didn't matter!  She smiled and laughed for everyone that would pay attention!:)

Besides partying it up the past few days, we haven't been up to much lately.  Lillee has started walking some.  She mainly walks across the room when you aren't paying attention to her.  If you try to get her to walk to you she usually won't.  Stubborn:)  I was going to post a video of her walking but for some reason the video icon isn't up in my tool bar...weird!

Yesterday was her 1 year check up.  The doctor said she looks great!  She got three shots and then they drew blood to test for anemia.  She is a little anemic so we are going to give her iron supplements for 6 weeks and then restest.

30.25"- 95 %

She is a growing girl!!
