Yesterday I had my 12 week appointment. It was the fun one where you get your blood drawn, flu shot, and lots of other poke and prodding! But we also got to hear the heart beat which was so amazing! I was glad when the doctor pointed out which sound we were looking for because at first it seemed like a lot of white noise but it soon was quickly easy to distinguish. Dr. Locke said that its heartbeat was in the 160s and that was normal. He said everything looked good and I should be able to have a normal vaginal delivery, which is something we were concerned about.
We are still searching for another place to live...probably not a house with the way the market is right now but hopefully a nicer downstairs apartment or duplex. We had thought we were going to get a duplex this past week but it didn't go thru...guess God has something better in store for us! Things are going well and I am excited to be approaching the time period when the nausea and sickness should subside! Keep your fingers crossed! I will try and post a belly pick later this weekend!

Yeah! I am glad the appt went good. I thought about you several times yesterday and wondered. I am also thrilled you will get to try for a vaginal delivery...that's great! Let me know how the search for a place to live goes. I want to see a belly picture!
